Challenge classes are perfect for when you want a more intense sequence. Ensure you maintain your Pilates form and embrace the burn.

OUR CLASSES

Barre

Barre Pilates takes inspiration from Ballet Barre. The sequence of this class is low impact but it will lengthen, strengthen and keep you on your toes, literally! Expect a complete body workout that combines standing Barre exercises using your chair and Pilates based floor work on your mat.

Sculpt

Sculpt is Aoife’s signature class. This is a powerful, complete body workout that will leave you feeling strong. Expect a standing sequence with the weights and lots of mat work with the Pilates ball to intensify the burn. The class includes lots of modifications and progressions so you can tailor it to suit you.

Cardio

Cardio Burn is a faster paced class so you can expect to get your heart rate up. This class is the ultimate calorie burner, with elements of HIIT interlaced throughout. This is a mixed level class with lots of low impact modifications to the exercises.

Burn

Pilates Burn classes will challenge you right from the start. The on-demand library offers a variety of shorter, focused classes, along with a complete body extreme burn.

Traditional

Traditional Pilates is a free flowing bodyweight class that will see you stretch, strengthen and align. This is a more traditional Pilates class with a more up-tempo pace. Dynamic Pilates classes are suitable for beginners.

Stretch

Stretch classes are slower paced, focusing on gentle stretches to balance and restore both mind and body. The goal of this class is to reconnect with your breath and release any tension in the body.

Pre/Postnatal

As a Physiotherapist, Aoife knows the importance of keeping fit and active during pregnancy, as well as the benefits of Pilates to reconnect with your body post pregnancy.

For Moms-to-be, The Pilates Programme on-demand library offers pregnancy specific classes including Barre, Burn & Sculpt and Dynamic Pilates. There is also a comprehensive video in which Aoife guides you through how to modify all the classes in The Pilates Programme to ensure they are safe for you during your pregnancy.

For new Mom’s, The Pilates Programme on-demand library offers a comprehensive postnatal introduction class, as well as a number of postnatal specific classes. These classes focus on how to reconnect to your core and rebuild your strength in a safe way.

Using either the prenatal or postnatal introduction video as a guide, you will be able to modify and tailor all of the classes in The Pilates Programme to ensure they are safe for you.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Hi everyone! I am Aoife Hannon, founder of The Pilates Programme. I would like to share a little bit about myself with you.

From a young age I have always been really passionate about exercise and I love to explore different and fun ways to keep fit and active. This passion lead me to study a Degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Limerick (UL). I then went on to complete an MSc in Physiotherapy, also at UL. I now work as a Physiotherapist in an acute hospital setting. I take every opportunity to advocate the benefits of physical activity and regular exercise to my patients.

While studying in college, I decided to partake in a Pilates course, with the goal to teach classes in my free time to help with my college fees. Here is where my passion for Pilates began. I was totally hooked after the course and I have been teaching classes since.

Over time I have developed my own style of class, drawing elements from Yoga, Ballet Barre and Pilates, leading me to founding The Pilates Programme. I firmly believe that regular exercise in the form of strengthening our bodies in a safe way is the key to a healthy, well aligned body. I am incredibly passionate about teaching classes that can yield such wonderful results both physically and mentally. I look forward to sharing the benefits of The Pilates Programme with you.
