It can be so hard to know what to gift people at Christmas. So, we have compiled this gift guide for Pilates and wellness lovers to try and help you out. As an Irish business, we have done our best to include fellow Irish businesses. But, we also want to be very genuine and transparent and only recommend products that are tried, tested and loved by Aoife.

TPP Subscription

Why not give someone you love the gift of Pilates this year? Whether they have a TPP subscription or not already, you can still gift them one. We also have beautiful gift bags and boxes so that you have the perfect gift to leave under the tree – no wrapping necessary. 

So, we’ll explain how it works to gift a TPP Subscription here. 

Using this link , you will be brought to the “Gift A Subscription” page. You can decide how many months you would like to gift. You then enter the recipient’s details and decide when you would like them to receive the gift. For example, you could enter Christmas Day at 1pm. 

At your selected day and time, the recipient will then receive their gift via email. 

If you would like to also give them one of our gift bags and boxes, email us once you have purchased the voucher with a copy of the confirmation email you received and a postal address and we will send you out a TPP gift bag and box. It’s that simple. 

TPP Pilates Mat

Ok, we are really plugging ourselves here. But we really believe we have created the perfect Pilates mat. 

We all have a shabby, cheap mat lying around at home that we have been using for years; it slides around the floor, isn’t very comfortable and is just not that nice to look at.

Every Pilates lover needs a good mat and it’s often something that we are slow to purchase and invest in for ourselves. But the reality is, a good mat is really important and it makes such a difference to our Pilates practice. It needs to be at least 5mm thick, rubberised, comfortable and non-slip. Pilates Activewear

Aoife’s favourite activewear brands are Lululemon and Alo Yoga and a voucher for either would make such a lovely gift for a Pilates lover. If you are feeling brave and want to purchase something rather than gifting a voucher, we’ll make some recommendations below.

• This Lululemon Activewear Bag is amazing and it looks so stylish. 
• Lululemon Align Leggings (Aoife wears the SHR style – excellent for tall girls) – these are just the perfect Pilates legging. 
• The Alo Yoga Airlift Leggings and a matching Airlift Intrigue Bra would make such a lovely gift. Aoife wears these filming quite a bit. The material is really lovely and they almost have a subtle sheen. You won’t go wrong with the Espresso colour. 

*We would love to recommend some Irish brands here, but the reality is that Aoife has been wearing both Lululemon & Alo Yoga for so long and hasn’t yet found another to replace them. In the New Year, we are going to make an effort to try lots of Irish Activewear Brands in the hopes of finding one we truly love that we can share with you.

Pilates Grip Socks

Pilates grip socks are amazing and we love recommending this incredible Irish brand. Even with a good non-slip mat, Grip socks are great to use. Ailinithe do some really lovely colours and styles. They are the perfect stocking filler for a Pilates lover, whether they are into Mat or Reformer Pilates. 

A Delicious Homemade Creation

This is probably the most thoughtful gift in this guide. There’s really nothing more special than receiving a home baked gift that you know time, energy and love has gone into. 

We have three festive recipes launching this December on the app and platform that will make gorgeous gifts; A Festive Granola, Festive Spiced Biscuits and Seeded Crackers (these make the perfect addition to a cheeseboard). The simple addition of a velvet bow, a nice jar or wrapping can turn these recipes into the perfect Christmas gift. 

LED Mask

This is absolutely a splurge as a gift, but hear us out. Aoife has been using the Omnilux Led Mask religiously for some time now and it’s incredible. It really helps to improve skin texture and gives a glow that truly is noticeable. This is one of those practices where consistency is key, but you will really see the difference. You only wear it for 10-minutes each night and it can become part of your bedtime routine. There is something really relaxing about closing your eyes and relaxing in bed while it’s on. 

Claw Clips

Ok, every Pilates girl needs a good hair clip. One that looks beautiful, but is also strong. Especially if you have long, thick hair, there’s nothing worse than a hair clip that slips and slides off – IYKYK. These Hairmade ones are brilliant. Best of all, they are Irish (Tipperary, actually). 

They look beautiful and come in different sizes. The medium size is perfect for thinner hair or to have part of your hair clipped back. If you have longer, thicker hair that you would like to fully clip up, the large one is amazing. Aoife has both sizes and wears them all the time. 

Facial Sheetmask

Sheetmask’s are the perfect stocking filler or just great to add to another gift. Aoife’s favourites are the Biodance ones. They come in a pack of 4, which is a great option. They are a Korean skincare brand and you will really see the difference in your skin after using them.

Silk Eyemask – Dore & Rose

Finally, these mulberry silk eyemasks are incredible. They are more like a pillow for your eyes! They can be purchased with a silk pillowcase and come in a beautiful gift box. Aoife believes they really help with sleep. 

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask & Tinted Lip Serum

These are another smaller, stocking filler style gift. LANEIGE is a Korean skincare brand that have really good products. The sleep mask and the tinted lip serum are both products that Aoife loves. They make a really lovely gift and with all of the gorgeous flavours and colours, you will be spoiled for choice. They do gift sets or you could pick and choose a few to put together. 

Create A Hamper

Finally, for the person who has everything, creating a hamper can be really special and equally thoughtful. Simply purchase a basket (Jysk have great options) and fill it with some of the smaller gifts we have mentioned here; sheet masks, Pilates socks, claw clips and some homemade creations. You can even add in some Kombucha, Matcha or some Bubbles. This is a nice one to get creative with and makes for a really special present.
